Program and Grants Analyst

Position Purpose:
Coordinate and manage a variety of administrative and programmatic efforts within the Office of the Executive Director and across the Presbyterian Mission Agency (PMA), ensuring that complex work and project lifecycles are stewarded skillfully and collaboratively.
Roles and Responsibilities (list in order of priority):
Provide project oversight, coordination, and/or support as needed on projects assigned within the Executive Directors Office.
(Generally, these are short duration efforts that require recurring supervision; but occasionally longer-term projects may emerge.
) Examples:
Monthly review of progress on Organizational Objectives & Key Results Maintain organizational roadmap for planning purposes and assist in queuing up key decision/action points for the Deputy Executive Director for Administration.
Facilitate the centralized collaboration and coordination of PMA grant-making efforts.
Examples:
supporting the Grants Administration Centralization project through to project completion.
organizing and convening a grants team responsible for guiding compliance for all PMA grant programs; and provide ongoing and ad-hoc management reporting of grant expenditures, impact, and learning as a result of PMA grant-making-partnership efforts Serve as PMAs coordinator of unassigned funds in tandem with Legal and Finance/Accounting, so that as new gifts come into the Presbyterian Mission Agency, the Executive Director is equipped with sufficient information to make strategic decisions regarding which ministry areas are best suited to perform work in accordance with PMAs missional goals and any donor-designated gift restrictions.
) Serve as PMAs coordinator of under-used and unused funds (e.
g.
, funds in need of cy pres action, orphaned funds, etc), tracking funds, developing a strategy for prioritization, and working with Finance/Accounting, Legal Services, and other stakeholders to expedite availability of PMA financialresources for mission use.
Serve as a member of the Office of the Executive Director, participating in collaborative efforts for the good of the organization.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Project management experience, working with projects of various sizes and complexity.
Previous experience with grant administration.
Experience working in complex organizational situations.
Experience working in the PC(USA) or an ability to quickly learn about the church and its agencies.
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Experience developing, implementing, administering, and maintaining processes and procedures.
Proficiency with Office 365 Knowledge of the programmatic work of the Presbyterian Mission Agency Ability to speak one or more languages other than English very helpful Required Competencies:

Sensory and physical requirements include the ability to communicate verbally in person and by telephone and the ability to read and understand written materials.
Ability to communicate in a manner suitable to a church office environment.
This is largely a sedentary position that may require occasional filing and lifting up to 15 pounds.
Requires the ability to see, hear, speak, type, write, walk, stand, bend and lift.
This is a full-time position.
Occasional overnight out of town travel may be required.
